It has it's own quiet beauty where visitors can appreciate the unspoiled tranquility and escape the stresses and noise of modern living. Attractions include the archaeological stone forts at Dun Chonchuir and Dun Fearbhai, as well as the cottage where playwright JM Synge spent his summers from 1898-1902.
Your trip will take from Doolin passed the Island of Inis Oirr before you arrive at Inis Meain Pier for your visit.
Unless you are staying overnight, you should pick your a few "Must See" sights on the island to make the most of your day trip.
